Language –
Words that connect
Language is more than words. It is connection, expression, and part of who we are.
At Kita am See, we accompany each child on their personal journey into language with patience, warmth, and joy. Everyday moments become rich opportunities for speech: during meals, play, storytelling, care routines, or while sharing experiences. Language grows naturally when it is embedded in relationship and meaning. Throughout the year, we explore thematic projects that expand children’s vocabulary for example feelings, seasons, animals, or family. Our educators support each child individually through targeted language games, rhymes, rhythm activities, and picture book dialogues. When needed, we collaborate closely with speech therapists and actively involve parents in the process. Together, we create a sensitive environment where every child gains confidence to express themselves in their very own voice and rhythm.

Nature –
Learning through all senses
Nature is our daily classroom, playground, and source of joy.
At Kita am See, we go outside every day– to the lake, our garden, or for
local walks – exploring the world with open eyes. Children experience
weather, seasons, and living things up close: they smell, touch, listen, and
observe.
Once a week, we celebrate our beloved Forest Day: Every week we visit the forests in our surroundings.
During school holidays , we design special adventure programs with outings
to zoos, museums, and farms – giving every child the chance to discover the
many sides of their environment.
Here we plant, observe, marvel, and celebrate the little miracles of growth together.
We believe: Children who grow up close to nature develop a deep sense of connection, care, and joy in life.
Movement –
Freedom in every step
Movement is an expression of joy – and here we craft it with intention, expertise and heart.
At Kita am See we start with crawling and gross-motor explorations,so that even our youngest children discover their body and feel its possibilities. Every day we create space to run, dance, balance and bravely try something new.
Together we specifically support motor and sports skills, strengthen balance, coordination, and self-confidence — all embedded in a joyful and supportive environment.
Whether in the garden, the movement room, or during our weekly forest day — movement becomes an invitation to physically experience the world. In this way, we lay the foundation today for health, inner strength and the joy of life tomorrow.

A key element of our program is our partnership with Playball: together we intentionally develop movement and sports skills, enhancing coordination, balance and self-confidence – all within a joyful community.

Music –
Sound, feeling, and community
Music speaks where words end. It accompanies children from the very beginning – while smiling, humming, rocking, and dreaming.
At Kita am See, music is a living part of our pedagogy: We sing every day, play with instruments, and experience sound as a language of joy. Music strengthens language development, sense of rhythm, and emotional expression, giving every child a feeling of security and belonging.
